The Siegessäle with its golden Victoria is one of Berlin's most distinctive emblems.
The national monument of “unified Wars” was originally mounted on the Königsplatz (in front of the Reichstag) in remembrance of the victory in the Prussian – Danish war. The monument is 67 metershigh. In the time around 1938/1939 the post was moved and placed on a big star in the middle of the animal garden marking the new era of the “Reichshauptstadt /imperial capitol Germania”.
The platform offers a wonderful panorama view over Berlin.
