The reconstruction of the old windmill in Marzahn is fully functional and grinds 200 days of the year with an end result of 1000 kg flour per day. If you wish to witness its procedures please make an appointment ahead of time. Already 190.000 visitors have come to the mill. Since December 2005 the grind and transport system has been fully mechanized. Oliver Evans from Virginia/USA revolutionized the mill production with this invention 200 years ago.
