Memorial of the refuge centre Marienfelde

In a permanent exhibition you can learn about the “German to German” getaway movement. Thanks to the remains of a true original home of such fugitives from the 50s as well as Pictures, films, facts and written documents events of this era are clearly brought to you. Supporter of this house is the association: Memorial of the refuge Marienfelde e.V. This centre does research and documentary on its history concerning all people who fled from the East before it became impossible to pass the Berlin wall, organisations, offices and motives of the refugees, their acceptance and integration.
