Jewish semitary Weißensee

The Jewish cemetery Weißensee is one of the largest in all Europe. Right after entering one stands in front of a monument reminding the visitors of the 6 million Jews murdered by the National Socialists.
Numerous famous Berliners also rest here such as the painter Lesser Ury, the publisher Samuel Fischer and Rudolf Mosse.
There are a so many types of tombstones to be sighted along with art works from Walter Gropius designing a more cubistic tombstone for Albert Mendel or the family Panowsky.
