Centre of documentation on the Berlin Wall

Here you find an exhibition on all historical and political facts that led to the division of Germany. In addition a permanent exhibition called: “Berlin, 13th August, 1961” documents the beginning construction work of the Berlin wall. All contents of this documentary are displayed in both English and in German.

The entire monument dedicated to the remembrance of the Berlin wall consist of the fallowing: The national monument of rem- embrance of the city‘s division and the victims of communist tyranny, the chapel of reconciliation and the centre of documentation.
