The Kaiser Wilheim Memorial Church

Standing proud in the center of Berlin is the infamous Emperor William Memorial Church or the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church. This was built in the year 1891 by the order of Wilhelm II in memory of Kaiser Wilheim, his grandfather.

Upon entering the church, you will be impress with the intricate mosaics in the church's ceiling which depicts the life and work of the great Emperor. It was the World War II in 1943 when the church was destroyed by British bombing. By December 2007, restoration of the church began.

Charlottenburg Palace

Known as the largest palace in entire Berlin territory, Schloss Charlottenburg is one of the 18th century palace in Berlin  This palace was styled by Arnold Nering and built for Friedrich III's wife, Sophie Charlotte. This palace was intended only as a summer retreat for Sophie Charlotte, but was expanded when Friedrich was declared the King and Charlotte as the Queen. It was named Schloss Charlottenburg in memory of Queen Sophie Charlotte after her death in 1705. which was constructed in the year 1695.
