Berlin Concerts in the Evening

One of the best places to go to enjoy an evening of classical music for which Berlin concerts are most famous is the Philharmonie Berlin. It is home to many orchestras, including the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin.

Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin is among the oldest orchestras in Germany. First founded in 1923, RSB, as the orchestra is most known, specializes in giving Berlin concerts focusing on the works of Schonberg, Wagner, Strauss and Bruckner. The motto of the orchestra is “Music is the crux of the matter” and it is now under performing under the guidance of acclaimed conductor Marek Janowski. They have a series of concerts in the evening at the Philharmonie Berlin.

Berlin Concerts at Lunch

The evening is not the only time that people can enjoy classical music. At the Philharmonie Berlin, concerts are offered during lunch time as well to give professionals and students who cannot go to the concerts in the evening a chance to partake of the intimate experience of listening to classical music while dining. Programmes lasting from 30 to 40 minutes are delivered by performing companies such as the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, the Deutsches Symphonie Orchester and the Staatskapelle Berlin. The masters featured in these Berlin concerts often include Schubert, Beethoven, Brahms and Debussy.
